AVP – Project Manager | BNP Paribas

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at BNP Paribas, located in Chennai, India. The company offers a Data as a Service (DaaS) solution to help clients manage their investment data. This role is crucial for delivering this service, enabling clients to gain an enriched and detailed view of their investments to support their decision-making processes. The Project Manager will lead the migration strategy and execution for clients transitioning to the DaaS platform.

• Mission: Solve client data challenges by providing an enriched view of their investments, supporting their investment processes and decisions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Roadmap Management: Manage the roadmap, plan delivery and capacity, and keep stakeholders and clients informed through clear documentation.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate collaboration between the IT/Operations team and product stakeholders to align efforts.
• Migration Strategy & Governance: Propose and implement appropriate governance for the migration strategy, working with stakeholders and the NeoXam implementation team.
• Client Migration Oversight: Oversee client interactions, especially during the parallel run phase, ensuring smooth coordination and issue resolution.
• Standardization Promotion: Monitor client-specific roadmaps and actively work to reduce customizations, thereby promoting standardization across solutions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor Degree or equivalent, demonstrating core domain knowledge in Securities Services or financial data management.
• Experience: Proven project management skills, including managing and leading transitions in a Securities Services environment, with experience transitioning operations from overseas to India.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal communication and coaching skills, strong people management skills, ability to manage a project, ability to synthesize/simplify complex information, and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Bonus: PMP / Prince 2 / ACP certification is highly preferred.
