Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) | Citigroup Inc.
The Tone:
This is a full-time trainee professional role at Citigroup Inc. Citigroup provides comprehensive financial services globally. This role is crucial for supporting relationship managers and ensuring high-quality service delivery to Citigold and Citi Private clients. You will contribute to the team’s productivity in acquiring, deepening, and broadening client relationships, directly impacting client satisfaction and business objectives through the quality of your work.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Service & Wealth Management: Deliver wealth management services, manage and execute client transactions, and coordinate account maintenance for Citigold and Citi Private clients.
• Client Issue Resolution: Take ownership of client investigations, such as statement reporting or pricing inquiries, collaborating with operational and middle office teams to ensure effective resolution.
• Client Relationship Engagement: Proactively arrange and participate in client visits, perform service quality check-in calls, and obtain appointments to build or establish new relationships.
• Business Opportunity Identification: Identify and document new business opportunities for referral to bankers or product specialists.
• Operational Integrity & Risk Management: Enforce banking policies, ensure operational integrity, and appropriately assess risk, driving compliance with regulations and adhering to ethical judgment.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Diploma or equivalent. This is a trainee professional role with a basic understanding of underlying concepts and principles.
• Experience: Previous relevant experience preferred; client facing experience; previous sales referral experience.
• Skills: Ability to multi-task with strong organizational and time management skills; problem solving and data analysis with demonstration of attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of investments, banking, and credit products.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience preferred; strong background and interest in the fields of operations and compliance.
