• Mission: This role ensures all litigation filings, service, and docket activities are meticulously organized, accurate, and timely for a busy litigation practice.
• Tech Stack: CourtAlert Case Management, PACER, other court e-filing systems

What You’ll Actually Do
• Filing Coordination: Coordinate with court staff to facilitate the filing, service, and retrieval of litigation documents in state and federal matters.
• Service of Process Management: Oversee service of process activities by working with approved outside vendors and tracking completion status.
• E-filing Preparation: Prepare court submissions for electronic filing, ensuring documents meet jurisdiction-specific formatting and technical requirements, including hyperlinking and bookmarking when needed.
• Docket Management: Maintain accurate docket entries in CourtAlert Case Management and generate deadline reminders for litigation teams.
• Procedural Guidance: Advise legal teams on procedural requirements for filings, attorney admissions, and pro hac vice applications across relevant jurisdictions.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-level professional with strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a calendar, docketing, or managing clerk capacity within a legal environment, coupled with hands-on experience using electronic filing platforms including PACER.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, clear written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with preparing litigation documents for court submission with attention to formatting accuracy, and working knowledge of federal and state court rules, filing procedures, and litigation deadlines.
• Bonus: Experience using CourtAlert or a similar docketing or case management software.
