What You’ll Actually Do
• Execute Investigations: Perform and manage key components of internal investigations, including document review, data analysis, interviews, and drafting reports, while escalating potential issues or risks.
• Support Team Development: Provide day-to-day support and informal guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-quality team environment.
• Conduct Training and Awareness: Assist in coordinating and delivering training sessions on investigative practices and risk awareness to reinforce reporting channels.
• Manage Documentation and Processes: Draft concise investigative summaries and reports, maintain accurate case files, and identify opportunities for process and operational improvements.
• Assist External Engagements: Support preparations for interactions with regulators or other external parties, ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and Firm expectations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Juris Doctor (J.D.) and/or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from an accredited law school, licensed to practice law in the U.S., with a focus on investigations and litigation.
• Experience: Minimum three years of recent experience in investigations, litigation, or related work within a law firm, corporate, or government environment; demonstrated professionalism in handling sensitive matters.
• Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience collaborating effectively within teams and contributing to shared outcomes.
