Asset Analyst | General Dynamics Information Technology
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at General Dynamics Information Technology, located remotely in Arizona. General Dynamics Information Technology delivers technology solutions and mission services to every major agency across the U.S. government, defense, and intelligence community. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring full lifecycle accountability and compliance for all government and company assets, thereby safeguarding contract performance through rigorous tracking, documentation, and audit readiness. This role is essential for maintaining operational integrity and meeting contractual obligations.

• Mission: This person ensures full lifecycle accountability and compliance for all government and company assets, safeguarding contract performance through rigorous tracking, documentation, and audit readiness.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Asset Identification: Perform and document required markings, tagging, and unique record identification for all installed assets, whether in production or as spares.
• Asset Management Implementation: Implement hardware, software, and license management within TENM as a team member, including updating the SW Warranty Tracker.
• Compliance and Auditing: Maintain IUID tags, upload them into PIEE, and support internal reviews, surveillances, self-assessments, and audits to ensure property accountability and contract compliance.
• Asset Tracking: Track government property, fixed assets, non-capitalized assets, and leased assets from acquisition through disposition, adhering to contract requirements.
• Reporting and Inventory: Conduct asset management reporting for contractual, governmental, and internal needs for TENM, and perform monthly and quarterly physical inventory audits.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) with a foundational understanding of asset management principles and compliance.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of related experience in asset management, focusing on tracking, documentation, and compliance for various asset types including government property and fixed assets.
