Job Description, Detailed:

Cambium Assessment is seeking an Assessment Engineering Intern to join their team. This role is focused on contributing to the analysis and testing of large-scale assessment platforms.

Key Responsibilities include:

Evaluating Software Quality: Assessing the performance, functionality, and overall quality of software solutions developed by the company.
Developing Test Scenarios: Creating detailed and comprehensive test plans and scenarios to rigorously test the assessment platforms.
Reporting: Generating detailed reports on the performance and functionality of both new and existing operational features.
Collaboration: Working closely with engineers and scientists to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to bolster the validity, reliability, and scalability of the company’s systems.

Required Qualifications:

Candidates must possess exceptional problem-solving skills and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting. Applicants should be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a closely related field. Basic proficiency in one or more programming languages is essential. A strong eagerness to learn about the company’s research and operational initiatives, as well as the broader assessment industry, is highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in SQL and/or Python are a plus. Familiarity with common data analysis techniques will also be considered favorably.
