Job Description:
This is for an Assessment Engineering Intern position at Cambium Assessment. The primary objective of this role is to contribute to the analysis and testing of large-scale assessment platforms, aligning with the company’s focus on online testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Evaluating the quality of software solutions developed by the company.
• Developing comprehensive test scenarios to assess system functionality and performance.
• Generating reports on the performance and quality of both new and existing operational features.
• Partnering closely with engineers and scientists to enhance the validity, reliability, and scalability of the company’s systems.
Required Qualifications:
• Possession of exceptional problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work effectively in a fully remote setting.
• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a closely related field.
• Basic programming skills in at least one programming language.
• An eagerness to learn about both research and operational initiatives within Cambium Assessment and the broader assessment industry.
Preferred Qualifications (a plus, but not mandatory):
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with common data analysis techniques.
