Job Overview:

We are seeking an immediate opening for an Assembly Intern. Reporting directly to the Assembly Manager, the Assembly Intern will provide essential support by assisting with all aspects of factory planning and engineering. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth execution of an ongoing plant expansion project.

Responsibilities (Aufgaben):

  • Improve transparency of project-related action items.
  • Conduct process documentation.
  • Perform feasibility analysis of optimization projects.
  • Optimize daily processes with new ideas.
  • Maintain an overview and update the detailed project schedule.
  • Coordinate project steps with plant operations.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Provide assistance where needed by the department or other areas.
  • Assist in and lead meetings.
  • Process optimization of production line processes.
  • Conduct time studies and analysis of bottlenecks.
  • Innovate strategies to overcome bottlenecks.
  • Improve quality transparency in End-of-Line operations as well as the rework area.
  • Perform process analysis and develop process improvement ideas and implementation.
  • Take meeting minutes and edit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Engage in project planning using Microsoft Planner.
  • Implement time studies and Poka-Yoke methodologies.

Skills:

  • Preferred studies in: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information System Engineering, or other related/similar fields.
  • Experience with Information Systems.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and methodologies.
  • Understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and manufacturing KPIs.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interest in process optimization and problem-solving.

Qualifications (Qualifikationen):

  • Required: Having graduated within the past 12 months or currently working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a relevant degree to participate in the intern program.
