Artificial Intelligence (AI) Intern | Unique Vacations, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a paid internship at Unique Vacations, Inc., located in Miami, FL. Unique Vacations, Inc. is an affiliate of the worldwide representative for Sandals Resorts and Beaches Resorts, providing exclusive marketing, public relations, advertising, promotions, and creative services. This role is instrumental in gaining hands-on AI experience, crafting digital assets, and contributing to impactful solutions that promote luxury Caribbean destinations. You will help build the future by improving internal systems and enabling teams with AI capabilities.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Test and Improve Internal AI: Stress-test internal AI systems, identify areas for improvement, and design better prompts and workflows.
• Build AI Automations: Design and prototype AI-powered workflows and internal AI agents for various departmental use cases.
• Connect Systems: Connect different tools through APIs and automation platforms to build integrated solutions.
• Evaluate New Tools: Research and evaluate emerging AI platforms and automation frameworks, providing structured recommendations to the AI Department.
• Educate Teams: Help colleagues identify AI opportunities, create simple guides and playbooks, and host demos to support responsible AI usage.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Junior or Senior student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Genuine excitement about AI and automation, coupled with a curious, experimental, and proactive approach in a workplace setting.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset, comfort with quickly learning new tools, and clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Bonus: Experience using n8n, Microsoft Copilot, Rovo AI, ChatGPT, or Claude; experience building AI workflows, agents, or automations; familiarity with APIs or integrations; basic coding knowledge in Python or JavaScript (not required); or experience documenting processes or training others.
