Description: Art Director Intern

Ogilvy is seeking insatiably curious and observant Art Director interns who are creative problem-solvers and adept at connecting disparate ideas. Interns should be eager for new experiences and demonstrate a passion for visual arts and design.

Responsibilities:

• Learn and adapt quickly to a fast-paced agency environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Develop and present concepts for client briefs.
• Create visual layouts for various media (social posts, activations, products).
• Support the team with tasks like sourcing visuals and research materials.

Currently pursuings:

• Ability to think BIG while translating ideas into simple, impactful solutions across various media.
• Strong team player who can effectively collaborate with copywriters, designers, animators, producers, and other specialists.
• Resourceful and adaptable, capable of handling challenges with creativity and efficiency.
• High standards for taste, artistry, and craft.

Internship Details:

Dates: June to August (10 weeks)
Location: Chicago or New York City (hybrid/in-office setting)
Type: Full-time, paid internship
Compensation: $17-$22 USD per hour (varies based on location, experience, and qualifications)

Conversion Rate: Historically, 70% of interns receive full-time or freelance offers post-internship (subject to agency needs).
Work: Interns work on real client projects, collaborating with team members at all levels. Project load depends on the current agency workload. The goal is to provide real-world experience that can be showcased in portfolios or reels.
