Job Description:
The AKG Apprenticeship Partner Program offers high school seniors hands-on work experience aligned with their academic studies and professional growth. The program aims to recruit motivated students, facilitate their transition into the workforce, and develop a strong pipeline of future AKG employees.
Key aspects of the apprenticeship include:
• Work Experience: Apprentice will be provided with pertinent work experience that will align directly with their academic studies and practical skill development.
• Hands-on Learning: Working alongside experienced technicians and engineers, apprentices will learn to operate industrial machines, assembly tools, and testing equipment.
• Production Support: Apprentices will support the production of precision components used in automotive, construction, and industrial equipment.
• Training: Receive training in safety, quality control, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Learning Modules: Participate in classroom instruction and on-the-job learning modules.
Requirements:
• High school diploma
• Strong interest in manufacturing, engineering, or skilled trades
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Mechanical aptitude or prior shop/classroom experience a plus
