About the APAC Project Management Intern role
The APAC Project Management Intern will be an integral part of the Disney+ APAC Program Management Office team, aimed at providing best-in-class program management services to help the APAC Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team meet one of the company’s top strategic objectives; to deliver sustained DTC subscriber and revenue growth.
Primary responsibilities will be to support the delivery of key strategic initiatives in APAC in partnership with various cross-functional work streams across the APAC region.
Responsibilities
• Team Collaboration: Communicate with various APAC Regional and local cross-functional teams on new change initiatives including Product, Partnerships, Marketing, Growth, Content, Legal, and Operations teams to achieve desired results.
• Change Control: Support in the management of Program scope and change control, escalating issues to the APAC PMO team as necessary.
• Testing: Perform and/or coordinate in-market Singapore user testing, including troubleshooting and analysis of issues to assist project stakeholders and team members.
• Problem Solving: Work cross-functionally with Disney+ stakeholders and team members to identify critical business blockers and collaborate with them to solve.
• Actively participate and support brainstorming sessions, business reviews, and post-launch reviews.
• Apply strategic thinking and problem-solving ability to overcome any issues/problems that may arise.
• Establish and roll out new templates for the Program launches in APAC.
• Document Program Management processes.
• Contribute to new team member onboarding i.e., documentation, process roll out, access to new tools, etc.
Requirements
• Currently an undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Strategy, Communication, or a business-related field.
• Knowledge or interest in the OTT, Media, and Content landscape, i.e., SEO, DTC (SVOD/OTT, IPTV, BVOD, broadcast technologies) is a plus.
• Results-oriented.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Possess a curious, analytical mindset with the strong ability to apply data and insights to drive outcomes.
• Digitally savvy.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, demonstrated tenacity.
• Interest or fan mentality for Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel.
• Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways.
• Self-starter that needs minimal supervision in motivating himself/herself, always looking for opportunities to contribute to our campaigns and overall projects.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strategic thinker with good communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to leverage on data to develop strategy/decisions.
• Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite applications.
