Job Description: Spectrum Internship – AP Analyst

This is a 10-week, full-time summer internship program starting on May 28, 2025, and ending on August 1, 2025. It offers valuable learning opportunities, professional development sessions, networking events, and mentorship. The program is designed for motivated rising junior or senior students with a 3.0 GPA or higher pursuing a degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities:

As an AP Analyst intern, you will play a key role within two teams: your assigned department and the intern peer group.

Department and Team Focused Projects (80% of time):
• Learn all aspects of Accounts Payable and Credit Card Program functions.
• Increase credit limits on cardholders.
• Master Charter’s Travel & Expense System.
• Process credit card applications.
• Analyze payments to vendors.
• Research invoices sent to Charter from vendors.
• Understand the vendor set-up process.
• Review utility invoices.
• Learn the unclaimed property process.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Professional Development and Networking (20% of time):
• Attend Kickoff Conference on May 28th.
• Participate in webinars.
• Engage in community service activities.
• Work on cross-functional projects.
• Deliver final presentations.

Required Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in current program.
• Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Ability to drive results through effective project and time management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
