Job Description
Interco is seeking a paid Android Development Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience working on innovative Android applications, including a photo management app and the proprietary Interco mobile application.
Key Responsibilities:
• Photo Management App: Develop a Kotlin-based Android app that allows users to assign and manage photos of outbound containers linked to specific order numbers. This includes:
• Receiving wireframes and building the app from the ground up.
• Ensuring photos are stored in appropriate directories.
• Maintaining smooth and efficient application functionality.
• Proprietary Mobile App: Contribute to the ongoing development of the Interco mobile application, which manages and tracks pallets associated with shipping orders. This may include:
• New feature development.
• Enhancing existing features based on project needs.
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with or Strong Interest in Kotlin and Android app development: This is a must-have for this role.
• Currently Pursuing a Degree: Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior Android Development or Kotlin Experience (Optional): While not required, previous experience is a plus.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: This is crucial for tackling development challenges.
• Attention to Detail: The intern will ensure high-quality code and application functionality.
• Effective Communication and Teamwork: The intern will work collaboratively with other team members.
Additional Information:
• Compensation: $15/hour.
• Operating Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Benefits: This position does not offer healthcare benefits.
• Location: This position is open to local students only.
