About the Starbucks Summer Internship Program:

The Starbucks Internship Program is a paid, full-time, 12-week program (June – early September 2025) designed to provide students with meaningful work experience in a field of interest and expertise within the Starbucks Partner and Customer Solutions team. Roles will be based out of the Seattle Support Center in Seattle, WA.

Job Description – Analytics Internship:

Tryer Innovation Center – Analytics Internship

This internship will focus on leveraging data to improve customer wait times. You will:

Determine key variables and effect sizes impacting Customer Wait Time: Conduct statistical analysis of enterprise transaction data and store simulation data.
Leverage industry-best practices and research publications: Identify additional signals Tryer Innovation Center might include to develop robust measurement.
Develop a model for text analysis and insight extraction.
Work closely with Tryer Analytics, Testing, and Operations: Architect and recommend a technical design and approach, as needed.
Work in an Agile environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proficiency in statistical methods and machine-learning, at scale
Analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to design pragmatic solutions.
Familiarity with SQL and/or Python
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau
Strong interpersonal skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork.

Internship Program Qualifications:

• Active enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to work full-time from June – early September 2025.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
