From your first day, you’ll make a valuable contribution in a fast-growing public company, delighting millions of TV streamers and gaining meaningful experience.

About the team:
The Analytics & Insights team leverages Roku’s first-party data on platform usage to craft compelling narratives about TV consumer trends, behaviors, and preferences. As an Analytics & Insights Intern within the Ad Sales organization, you will work hands-on with Roku’s Big Data to develop and own projects that strengthen Roku’s leadership in the TV streaming space.

For New York Only: The estimated hourly rate for this position is between $20 and $50 per hour. • Aggregate and visualize data into understandable insights using Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Gain an understanding of audiences of interest to advertisers and pose research questions about their streaming behavior on Roku.
  • Conduct analyses about key audiences in SQL, aggregating findings into compelling and useful insights stories for sales teams and clients.
  • Generate timely external-facing insights about search and streaming on Roku during cultural moments (e.g., holidays, sports events) to cement Roku’s position as a leader in TV streaming.
  • Build and document processes that will allow the Analytics & Insights team to scale.

We’re excited if you are:

  • Pursuing a degree in business analytics, marketing, psychology, data science, mathematics, or another related field.
  • Skilled in SQL, data analysis, basic statistical concepts, and problem-solving.
  • Able to visualize data clearly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Passionate about TV, streaming, pop culture, consumer behavior, and working with data.
  • An excellent verbal and written communicator with the ability to tailor your communication style based on the audience.
  • Exceptionally attentive to detail, organized, and effective at managing time.
  • Curious, inquisitive, thoughtful, creative, and eager to learn.
