About This Role: Analytics & Data Internship Program

This is a professional development program offered by Wells Fargo, providing participants with a ten-week overview of the company. It aims to give interns a high-level understanding of Wells Fargo’s operations, business strategies, and organizational culture. The program is designed for undergraduate candidates, blending business and professional developmental training opportunities with real-world experiences to prepare them for a potential career at Wells Fargo. Interns will be placed on one of Wells Fargo’s analytics or data management teams, with consideration for their location, degree, and expressed areas of interest where possible.

In This Role You Will:

Gain On-the-Job Experience: Interns will begin to build analytical and interpersonal communication skills by analyzing and translating data into usable concepts for effective data-driven business decision-making. They will also actively participate in their team’s day-to-day activities.
Receive Professional Support: Each intern will be matched with a colleague who will provide answers, help through challenging situations, and offer feedback throughout the summer. Additional support will come from a program manager and a functional cohort.
Benefit from a Virtual Speaker Series: Wells Fargo’s top leaders will provide insights on how to maximize the summer experience, share their career paths, offer tips and advice, and discuss trends in the financial and functional spaces they serve.
Take Part in Organization Networking Activities: The program promotes community involvement and networking opportunities with other summer interns and full-time analysts across various programs, fostering lasting professional relationships and network building within a diverse and growing workforce.

Required Qualifications:

6+ months of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.

Desired Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2026 – June 2027.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in fields such as: Analytics, Applied Math, Computer Sciences, Data Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Physics, Quantitative Analysis, Statistics, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis or related fields.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
• Involvement in extracurricular enrichment activities through one or more of the following: volunteerism, student organization involvement, study abroad program(s), leadership position(s), non-profit involvement.
Proven ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a collaborative, change-driven atmosphere.
Energetic self-starter who proactively takes initiative, acts with urgency, remains curious, and has a genuine interest in learning and growth.
• Demonstrated knowledge, interest, and/or familiarity with: Data visualization tools such as Tableau and PowerBI, programming languages such as SQL, Python, SAS, analytics, research, statistics, data modeling, and/or data management.

Program Details:

Duration: 10 weeks, Summer 2026.
Locations: Primary location is Charlotte, NC, with limited opportunities based on business need in Minneapolis, MN, Dallas, TX, and Des Moines, IA.
Pay Rate: $40.87 per hour across all listed locations (Charlotte, MN, Dallas, Des Moines). Note: An additional general pay range of $18.00 – $65.00 is also listed, which is a broader company-wide range and less specific than the stated hourly rate for this particular internship.
Work Authorization: Wells Fargo only considers candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who do not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future to retain their authorization.
