Job Description

Levy is a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country. This analyst internship position is focused on supporting the delivery of analytics and insights to Levy and Rank + Rally operators and partners in St. Louis at CITY Park and Enterprise Center surrounding food, beverage, and retail operations. In this role, you will be responsible for working with Levy and Rank + Rally’s on-site leaders and managers as well as E15’s analysts across the country to develop analytical tools (modeling, reporting, visualizations, and more) to help drive the business and enhance the guest experience.

Some of the core responsibilities of the Analyst Intern are:

• Identifying opportunities to optimize existing product offerings, distribution, and pricing
• Reporting periodically on operational and financial metrics, and creating an economic valuation of E15’s bottom-line impact
• Communicating key guest insights and industry trends monthly
• Performing quarterly & annual partner reviews
• Directly completing ad hoc analytics projects as appropriate
• Partnering with E15’s data engineering team to maintain data accuracy & cleanliness for proper analysis
• Observe food, beverage, and retail operations on gamedays to better understand bottlenecks, points of friction, and identify further areas of opportunity through contextualizing the data.
• Develop reporting (heat maps, dashboards, slide decks, status updates) standards and formats for partner and operator end use.
• Analyze and build optimal solutions around specific business needs (labor, speed of service, menu concentration, merchandise assortment).

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in business analytics, computer science, statistics, economics, finance, or a related field
• Experience (work or school assignments) in at least one of the following tools: SQL, Statistical software package (R strongly preferred), data visualization (Tableau strongly preferred)
• Expertise in Excel modeling or school experience in financial modeling a plus
• Specific interest (or prior experience) in sports and/or food & beverage and/or retail
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Can share examples of working effectively in a team environment
• Can share examples of how they have used data to solve complex problems
