Job Description: Analyst Intern

This role is for an Analyst Intern within Rystad Energy’s analyst department, which is a core part of the company’s operations. The position is located in Houston, TX.

• Role Purpose: To challenge candidates as an analyst intern in a leading energy knowledge house, contributing to the company’s market-leading research.
• Department Structure: The analyst department is diverse, comprising divisions that cover Renewable and Power, Energy Systems, Oil and Gas, Commodity Markets, and Energy Services.
• Intern’s Contribution: Interns are expected to play an immediate and value-adding role in analysis. They will be integral to gathering, analyzing, and presenting research across various groups within the department. Analysts, including interns, are considered the backbone of the company, responsible for maintaining and developing the databases and reports used by clients worldwide.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Gathering, interpreting, and updating market-leading databases.
• Modelling energy market data.
• Report writing for internal and external consumption.
• Taking responsibility for own work streams under the supervision of more experienced analysts.
• Internship Structure: A typical internship is 12 weeks long, usually conducted during the June to August period.
