Analyst – PJT Park Hill (Alternative Credit/Hedge Fund – Project Management) | PJT Partners

The Tone:
This is an Analyst role at PJT Partners, a global advisory-focused investment bank. The company delivers a wide array of strategic advisory, shareholder advisory, restructuring, and private fund advisory services to corporations, financial sponsors, institutional investors, and governments worldwide. This role is vital for PJT Park Hill’s Alternative Credit and Hedge Fund Group, enabling them to advise best-in-class private credit and hedge funds on all aspects of capital raising. It’s a key position for supporting capital raise efforts and developing both quantitative and qualitative skills across the financial spectrum.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Origination: Play an important role in all aspects of the capital origination effort.
• Due Diligence: Source and perform intensive due diligence on various private credit and hedge fund strategies.
• Research: Assist in various research projects related to alternative assets.
• Marketing: Manage and maintain all external Park Hill marketing materials.
• Reporting: Conduct budget forecasting and prepare internal presentations and reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, with Accounting, Finance, or Economics major preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years of prior experience in investment banking or similar fields is preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, knowledge of financial modeling and leveraged buyout analysis, excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints and deadlines, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bonus: Series 79, Series 7, or Series 63 securities licenses are preferred; superior academic achievement.
