Amex Offers is a digital advertising platform that connects merchants and brands with American Express card members. The team develops strategic marketing partnerships that deliver unique value to merchants and advertisers, allowing them to reach high-spending card members in digital channels.

About the Internship

This internship is with the Amex Offers Global Center of Excellence (COE), which provides centralized support across Strategy, Capability, and Operations. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic analysis, market research, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze internal and external data: Help businesses improve performance and drive growth by identifying opportunities.
Conduct market research: Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform strategic marketing decisions.
Analyze performance indicators: Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Assist in creating marketing strategies and plans: Develop segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategies.
Develop reports and presentations: Communicate findings, recommendations, and strategic insights to stakeholders.
Develop relationships with internal and external partners.
Lead end-to-end marketing initiatives: Develop and implement tests to measure efficiency.
Find innovative ways to improve the Amex Offers experience and performance.

Qualifications:

Minimum: Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program, with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.
Preferred: Passion for customer marketing, payments innovation, travel industry, and new technology trends; ability to conceptualize and sell ideas; independent thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving/quantitative skills; proficient with analytical and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint); excellent written and verbal communication skills.
