Job Description: AI Solutions Engineer Intern
MasterControl is seeking innovative and self-motivated AI Solutions Engineer Interns. This internship offers hands-on experience in AI development, focusing on building internal AI solutions to enhance and scale business operations. Interns will work with Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompts, utilize AWS cloud services, and collaborate across various departments to shape the company’s AI platform.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and refine AI prompts, tracking version history and incorporating feedback to optimize performance.
• Maintain and enhance the backend of the internal AI product platform using AWS services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across accounting, finance, sales, marketing, professional services, and engineering to optimize AI-driven solutions.
• Develop AI-powered solutions through prompt engineering, software development, and data processing.
• Troubleshoot and support internal AI chat platform tickets and contribute to minor development tasks.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience writing code (through coursework, projects, or internships).
• Familiarity with Python and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for AI, automation, and innovation in real-world applications.
The internship includes expert training in AI development, cloud infrastructure, business analytics, SaaS business models, key metrics, data and AI operations, and various AI techniques and practices, along with experience using 15+ AWS cloud services. Real-world case studies are also incorporated into the program.
