This role is a full-stack position requiring a balance of scientific advancement and engineering excellence. You should be prepared to spend approximately half of your time on research and half on engineering.
Research Responsibilities:
• Developing new tasks and methods to distinguish between human and AI systems.
• Gathering data through internal red-teaming exercises.
• Training models designed to be robust in adversarial contexts.
• The research work is interdisciplinary, encompassing machine learning, cognitive science, and online experimentation.
• You may also assist the team in writing scientific articles for publication in top venues (e.g., Science, HCI, NeurIPS).
Engineering Responsibilities:
• Building systems to serve the developed models with minimal latency.
• Creating intuitive interfaces for clients.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proficiency in web development (Javascript, Node.js).
• Proficiency in Python.
• While experience in both research and engineering is ideal, research experience is not strictly required if you possess a strong quantitative background and an eagerness to learn.
