Description:
This is a hands-on internship offering experience in applying cutting-edge AI technologies within a corporate finance setting. The intern will collaborate with both AI (IT) and finance teams on impactful projects that directly contribute to business value.
Responsibilities:
• AI Model Development and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement generative AI models specifically for corporate finance applications. This includes working with various aspects of the AI lifecycle.
• Data Handling: Assist in the collection, preprocessing, and analysis of data to ensure high-quality input for the AI models.
• Research & Development: Conduct research on the latest advancements in generative AI, exploring potential applications within the finance sector.
• Algorithm Development & Testing: Participate in the development and testing of AI algorithms to improve financial forecasting, risk assessment, and decision support systems.
• Integration: Support the integration of AI tools into existing financial software and workflows.
• Documentation & Reporting: Document project progress, methodologies, and results for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Presentation & Collaboration: Present findings and insights to the team, contributing to brainstorming sessions for new AI-driven solutions.
Currently pursuings:
• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of machine learning and AI fundamentals, with a focus on generative models. Basic knowledge of corporate finance principles and financial modeling is also required.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as are strong communication and teamwork abilities. A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
Preferred Currently pursuings (Nice to Have):
• Experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages (Python, R).
• Prior experience with AI projects or internships.
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and its applications in finance.
• Knowledge of financial data sources and databases.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation range is $18.00 – $19.05 per hour, dependent on factors like experience, skills, certifications, and location. A comprehensive benefits package is offered, including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k, vacation time, holidays, paid parental leave, and an annual bonus plan.
