Job Description: AI Intern (Summer 2025)
Cadence is seeking an AI intern to collaborate with its engineering team in pushing the boundaries of neural networks for speech and audio applications. This internship is ideal for candidates who enjoy exploring new ideas and building prototypes.
Responsibilities:
• Literature Review: Staying current on the latest advancements in the field by reviewing academic papers.
• Model Development and Implementation: Designing, implementing, and testing neural network models and algorithms.
• Model Training and Evaluation: Training neural networks and meticulously tracking performance metrics.
• Automation: Writing Python scripts to automate experiments.
• Documentation: Creating thorough documentation of experiments to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaboration: Working closely with engineers across different engineering departments.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience (through coursework or research) in developing neural network models.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other popular machine learning libraries.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
• A genuine passion for AI research and hands-on learning.
