About the Role: AI Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated AI Intern to join our dynamic AI/ML team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in the fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Location: This is an On-site position at our office in Bellevue, Washington.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

  • Assist in the full lifecycle of machine learning models, including building, training, and fine-tuning.
  • Conduct comprehensive research on emerging AI trends, tools, and techniques to keep our solutions at the forefront of innovation.
  • Engage in critical data tasks, including data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering, working with large and complex datasets.
  • Systematically optimize and evaluate model performance using a variety of industry-standard metrics.
  • Provide essential support to AI team members in the deployment and integration of models into various applications.
  • Develop clear and concise documentation for scripts, workflows, and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and software developers, to achieve project goals.
  • Continuously stay updated on the latest AI advancements and research papers, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related quantitative field.
  • Familiarity with prominent programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
  • Practical knowledge of key AI/ML frameworks, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Demonstrable experience with data manipulation tools like Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
  • An understanding of specialized AI domains such as deep learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or computer vision is a significant plus.
  • Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex challenges.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Compensation:

$30 USD per hour
