Job Description: AI & Data Strategy Manager – Strategy & Analytics

Position Summary:

This role is within Monitor Deloitte’s AI and Data Strategy market offering. You will work with clients to navigate the disruptive forces of AI and data, delivering shareholder value by helping them craft and implement their AI strategies.

Work You’ll Do:

• Lead and manage components of client engagements: Identify, design, and implement solutions to solve complex business challenges.
• Prioritize AI and Data Opportunities: Identify and prioritize opportunities to drive growth and efficiency through AI and data.
• Define AI Business Case: Develop and model the business case for AI initiatives.
• Monetize Data Assets: Define strategies for monetizing data assets.
• Develop AI Roadmap: Create a roadmap for AI adoption within client organizations.
• Talent and Technology Gap Analysis: Identify gaps in talent and technology needed for successful AI implementation.
• Role and Incentive Design: Define changes to roles and incentives to maximize the adoption of data and AI-driven insights.
• Educate Clients: Keep clients informed on the latest technology trends and their implications for their businesses.
• Design Actionable Strategies: Develop strategies and roadmaps that clients can implement to deliver business value.
• Develop Financial Models: Create financial models to depict the costs and benefits of AI implementations.
• Manage Teams: Lead teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
• Manage Full Life Cycle Implementations: Oversee the implementation of AI solutions from beginning to end.
• Develop Statements of Work and Proposals: Craft statements of work and client proposals for AI projects.
• Identify Business Opportunities: Identify opportunities to increase the usability and profitability of AI solutions.
• Interact with Leadership and Governance Teams: Collaborate with program leadership, governance, and change enablement teams.
• Develop Vendor Relationships: Manage and build relationships with vendors.
• Design and Facilitate Workshops: Lead workshops to engage clients and gather insights.
• Manage Resources and Budget: Manage resources and budgets for client projects.

The Team:

Monitor Deloitte’s Strategy practice focuses on transforming client businesses through a variety of capabilities, including Business Strategy, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Strategy, Technology Strategy & Business Transformation, and AI & Data Strategy. This role is part of the AI & Data Strategy market offering, which is a key contributor to AI-driven transformations and works closely with other market offerings.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
• 6+ years of experience working with senior executives crafting and implementing technology strategies
• 3+ years of experience as a Manager in a Consulting environment or managing teams/work streams in an Operating/project environment
• Experience developing business case narratives and financial models for transformational investments
• Ability to travel up to 50%

• Advanced degree (MBA Preferred)
• Passion for AI and data with a strong desire to learn and stay current with emerging technologies.
