Job Description:
We’re looking for a highly motivated and technically curious intern to join our team and help build intelligent backend systems using Python. This internship is ideal for students passionate about AI, RESTful backend development, and shipping production-level tools with the help of cutting-edge AI-assisted development environments.
As an intern, you’ll collaborate closely with engineers to integrate large language models and AI workflows into backend systems. You’ll have a front-row seat to how AI is transforming modern software engineering, and you’ll play an active role in building robust, scalable services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in building and maintaining RESTful APIs using Python.
• Integrate AI capabilities (e.g., LLMs) into backend systems for intelligent automation and enhanced developer tooling.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve velocity and code quality (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot).
• Collaborate with engineers in code reviews, debugging, and optimization efforts.
• Work on internal tooling or customer-facing backend services depending on project priorities.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with RESTful API development.
• Comfortable using Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Curious about or experienced with AI-assisted development (experience with Cursor is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
Bonus Qualifications:
• Previous experience with AI/ML tools or APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and cloud deployment (e.g., AWS).
• Understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven systems).
