What You’ll Actually Do
• Facility & Equipment Upkeep: Maintain the facility, vehicles, and all operational equipment to company standards, which includes performing general equipment maintenance and mechanical repair work as needed.
• Product Handling & Blending: Load and unload trucks efficiently, safely operate loaders, fork-lifts, tractors, and other location-specific equipment, and blend dry and liquid fertilizer using automated blend systems.
• Customer Delivery Logistics: Execute product deliveries to customers or custom application equipment, ensuring strict adherence to DOT standards for delivery equipment and conducting thorough pre-post trip inspections.
• Documentation & Compliance: Complete all necessary paperwork accurately for loading, delivering, and unloading product at the location and for customers, strictly following Nutrien Ag Solutions’ requirements.
• Safety & Environmental Adherence: Actively contribute to a clean and safe working environment by adhering to all Nutrien Ag Solutions Safety Rules and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. A High School Diploma or equivalent is a mandatory requirement for this position.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are strictly mandated. However, previous experience in agricultural operations, heavy equipment repair, or as an equipment operator is highly valued.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery (loaders, fork-lifts, tractors), perform general mechanical maintenance, blend materials with automated systems, manage logistical documentation, and adhere to safety and compliance standards (e.g., DOT).
• Bonus: Preferred qualifications include practical experience within an agricultural setting, or hands-on experience with the repair and operation of heavy equipment.
