Job Title: Agronomy Operations Intern

Location: Kindred, ND

Internship Duration: Summer 2026 (potential to start earlier and extend through the summer depending on business needs and availability).

Internship Overview:

As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will work closely with customers, delivering top-notch service and valuable agricultural insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of general agronomy skills, including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, truck driving, and product delivery.
  • Perform various agronomy and seed operations.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory.
  • Regulate and conduct periodic housecleaning processes and accurate record-keeping.
  • Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for all agronomy equipment, such as legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
  • Maintain a work environment that is compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture-related degree program.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.

Compensation & Benefits:

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes a base wage and, depending upon the position, may include other earnings such as bonuses, incentives, and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors, including experience, education, training, specialized skills, certifications, and minimum wage/salary requirements under local law. If eligibility requirements are met, you may participate in a 401(k) plan.
