Job Title: Agronomy Operations Intern
Location: Hannaford, ND
Internship Period: Summer 2026 (potential start as early as Spring 2026, depending on business needs and availability, extending through the summer)
Summary:
Join CHS for an exceptional internship experience in Hannaford, ND, offering competitive pay, a dynamic learning environment, and long-term growth opportunities. As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will collaborate closely with CHS customers to deliver top-notch service and valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain knowledge of general agronomy skills, including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, truck driving, and product delivery.
- Perform all agronomy and seed operations.
- Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory.
- Regulate and perform periodic housecleaning processes and record-keeping.
- Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for all agronomy equipment, including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers as needed.
- Work in and maintain an environment that is compliant with state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture-related degree program.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.
Compensation & Benefits:
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes a base wage and, depending upon the position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives, and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors, including experience, education, training, specialized skills, certifications, and minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
