Job Title: Agronomy Operations Intern
Location: Grand Forks, ND
Internship Duration:
- Summer 2026
- Potential to start as early as Spring 2026, depending on business needs and candidate availability, and extend through the summer.
Summary:

As an Agronomy Operations Intern, you will play a crucial role, collaborating closely with our customers to deliver outstanding service and provide valuable agricultural insights.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge Acquisition: Gain comprehensive understanding of general agronomy skills, including scouting, crop protection products, crop nutrient products, seed, custom application procedures, mixing procedures, truck driving, and product delivery.
- Operational Execution: Perform all agronomy and seed-related operations.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain the quality of inventory.
- Process & Record Keeping: Regulate and conduct periodic housecleaning processes, ensuring meticulous record-keeping.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist with repairs and preventative maintenance for all agronomy equipment, including legs, conveyors, towers, vehicles, sprayers, floaters, and trucks.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and offer assistance to customers as needed.
- Safety & Compliance: Work within and maintain an environment that adheres to state, local, and CHS Environmental and Safety policies.
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- Currently enrolled in an Ag Business, Crop Science, or other Agriculture-related degree program.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Software.
Compensation & Benefits:
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes a base wage and, depending upon the position, may include other earnings such as bonuses, incentives, and commissions. The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, and minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
