Job Description
This is an internship position for an Ag Maintenance Tech Intern at Seneca Foods Corporation in Glencoe, MN.

• Candidates should have a background in Ag Business, Farm Management, or related experience.
Training/Internship Plan Outline & Responsibilities:
The internship offers a comprehensive learning experience focused on agricultural machinery maintenance and operations during the peak harvest season.
• Skills Building: Interns will develop skills in the maintenance of pea and corn harvest equipment.
• Mechanical Troubleshooting: Learn to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Organizational Skills: Develop organizational skills relevant to agricultural operations.
• Production Planning: Gain experience in production planning to maintain a constant flow of high-quality product to the plant.
• Team Supervision: Supervise a seasonal crew of 3 to 5 employees.
• Operational Assistance: Assist the Mechanic with day-to-day management of harvesting operations to meet plant production needs.
• Technical Skills: Enhance mechanical skills, including motor repair and troubleshooting electrical components.
