Their premium product, BluChip Scout, enables students to grow their professional networks, connect with influential hiring personnel, and gain access to job opportunities before they are publicly posted.
Job Description:
BluChip is offering an Affiliate Sales & Marketing Internship. This is a remote, flexible hours position with commission-based compensation and a focus on providing real-world experience.
Key responsibilities include:
• Promoting BluChip Scout to students, student-athletes, alumni, and job seekers.
• Developing and executing marketing campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook Groups, and campus networks.
• Creating and sharing content (posts, blogs, and emails) to increase platform signups.
• Building partnerships with student organizations, career centers, athletic departments, and peer influencers.
• Providing feedback on user experience and marketing strategy.
• Posting BluChip content at least twice weekly on personal social media.
Compensation:
• Affiliate Commissions: Earn 50% of net revenue from every subscription sold, including renewals for the first three months. Examples provided to illustrate potential earnings based on the number of signups.
• Free Access to BluChip Scout: All interns receive free access to the BluChip Scout platform.
• Full Marketing Toolkit and Onboarding: Receive a comprehensive marketing toolkit and onboarding process.
• Custom Affiliate Link: A custom affiliate link is provided for tracking and reporting sales.
Professional Development & Mentorship:
The internship emphasizes professional development through:
• Personal mentorship from BluChip’s leadership team.
• Resume and LinkedIn branding support.
• Ongoing coaching to build a digital presence and stand out to employers.
• Direct introductions to professionals in their chosen field (where possible).
• Invitation to internal BluChip strategy and planning sessions.
• Potential future paid projects or full-time roles at BluChip.
Eligibility & Requirements:
• Current college students or alumni (all majors welcome, student-athletes a plus).
• Active on social media and confident in outreach and communication.
• Must convert at least two paying subscribers per month to retain free Scout access.
• Motivated, coachable, and eager to contribute to a high-energy and fast-growth startup.
Additional Information:
The internship is open to candidates authorized to work in the U.S. BluChip is unable to sponsor work visas.
