Job Description: Aerostructures Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)
Location: Raleigh, NC
Duration: 12 weeks (paid, in-person)
Responsibilities:
As an Aerostructures Engineering Intern, you will contribute to projects involving the design and construction of aerospace structures using carbon fiber composite materials. Your responsibilities will include:
• Problem Solving: Receive problem statements, guidelines, requirements, and reporting milestones.
• Trade Studies and Design: Independently conduct trade studies, generate design solutions, and obtain approvals.
• Procurement: Manage hardware procurement as needed for project implementation.
• Testing and Verification: Test, verify, and demonstrate the effectiveness of your solutions.
Qualifications:
• Education: Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Must be a rising senior at the time of the internship and returning to school after the internship for at least one quarter/semester.
• Security Clearance: U.S. Person status is required as the position involves access to Controlled Unclassified Information.
• Location: Ability to complete a 12-week in-person internship in Raleigh, NC.
