Job Description:
Safran Cabin is offering an exciting internship opportunity for Mechanical, Aerospace, and Electrical Engineering students in the Long Beach, CA area. As an Engineering Intern, you will play a pivotal part on the Engineering team, contributing to various aspects of engineering support.
Key Responsibilities/Support:
• Support in the creation, review, and revision of engineering procedures and technical documentation.
• Support the execution of component and system-level testing.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Assist with the incorporation of engineering changes into designs and documentation.
• Provide engineering analysis support, including data collection, processing, and reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality engineering.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a service-oriented team player with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, adaptable to an innovative and evolving environment.
Qualifications:
• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of Root Cause Analysis methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, etc.).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to project success.
Nice To Have:
• Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks/CATIA) or data analysis tools.
• Passion for aerospace.
