Description: Advisory Seasonal Intern (NY Lottery Team)

KPMG is seeking an Advisory Seasonal Intern to join their NY Lottery Team practice. This role involves hands-on experience with the New York Lottery (NYL) and offers valuable insights into the industry.

Responsibilities:

Draw Observation: Attend assigned NYL draws, documenting procedures performed using checklists. Assist in ensuring the integrity and transparency of draw procedures while identifying key business issues affecting the results.
Administrative Support: Perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the NY Lottery team.

Currently pursuings:

Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Finance, Business, or a related field.
GPA: Minimum 3.00 GPA.
Availability: Ability to work approximately 30-40 hours per month over an 18-24 month period.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Location: Must reside within a commutable distance of the office and be responsible for your own transportation.
Travel: Potential for travel to client sites, including overnight/extended stays.
Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
