KPMG Advisory Internship – Financial Due Diligence
KPMG’s Advisory practice is experiencing rapid growth fueled by high client demand. The firm is looking for adaptable and collaborative individuals to join their team, offering a supportive environment with ample learning and career development opportunities.
The role of Advisory Intern within the Financial Due Diligence practice focuses on:
• Assisting with buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements for Fortune 100 companies and private equity investors.
• Analyzing target company and client data to identify key financial performance and operating trends using rigorous financial statement analysis and data analytics.
• Contributing to the creation of client-tailored transaction advisory reports, addressing stakeholder concerns, valuation models, synergies, contractual issues, and accounting & tax implications.
• Conducting analyses of operating trends, quality of earnings, financial position, net working capital, debt and potential indebtedness considerations, borrowing base calculations, and business combinations.
Key qualifications for this internship include:
• Enrolment in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Pursuing CPA licensure requirements.
• Strong technical aptitude and critical thinking skills, demonstrated quality service mindset, and proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills, with a flexible and adaptable team-oriented approach.
• Must reside within a commutable distance of the office and be responsible for own transportation.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.
The internship may involve work at the office, client sites, or remotely within the U.S. Travel and overnight stays may be required for client site visits.
