Job Description: Administrative Intern
This internship supports sales managers and administrative staff at Translations.com. The role involves a variety of tasks, including:
• Sales Data Management: Tracking, investigating, and reporting sales information; preparing sales tracking reports comparing sales against projections; recording data and submitting forms to capture sales information, pricing, and demo requests.
• Financial/Accounting Support: Updating invoice payment information in the accounting database; resolving invoicing problems through investigation and communication with managers and accounting; tracking expenses, creating and managing expense reports.
• Reporting & Analysis: Consolidating, analyzing, and forwarding daily action summaries; preparing and distributing weekly reports.
• Client & Database Management: Maintaining customer database with profile input and updates; client relationship management through various projects; inputting and updating team records.
• Sales Support: Assisting in the preparation of sales presentations (compiling data, developing formats and materials); arranging travel and restaurant reservations for client meetings.
• General Administrative Tasks: Other special projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Superior written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Prior office/high-tech work experience.
• Familiarity with and ability to communicate about web technologies, desktop publishing software, databases, and network environments.
• Strong analytical skills for revenue projection, budget monitoring, and calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to multitask, organize, work well with diverse people, build relationships, work as a team, solve problems proactively, and maintain a high service level.
Internship Details:
The internship begins in June 2025 and requires a 6-12 month commitment.
