Description: Administrative/HR Internship
This internship provides tactical support to the Human Resources department, contributing to the achievement of organizational objectives. The role involves a variety of tasks, offering a comprehensive introduction to HR functions.
Responsibilities:
• Training Coordination: Support the scheduling of staff training classes, coordinating with vendors and the internal Training team.
• Office Management: Assist with the management of office equipment and supplies, including those for the kitchen/breakroom.
• Onboarding Support: Aid in the onboarding process for new hires.
• Employee Events: Assist with planning and executing employee events and activities.
• Financial Support: Contribute to departmental budgeting, invoicing, and vendor management.
• Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support and assist with ad-hoc HR projects as assigned.
Required Currently pursuings:
• Recent graduate or Junior/Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a focus on Human Resources, Human Capital, Organizational Leadership, or a comparable field.
Preferred Currently pursuings:
• Previous internships in corporate environments.
Preferred Skills:
• Attention to detail
• Solid written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe)
• Proactive work style and ability to work independently
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Desire for continuous learning and development
• Analytical, organizational, and time management skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs.
• Ability to work effectively in an open office/noisy environment.
Internship Duration: Minimum of 6 months.
Work Hours: 8:00 am – 3:00 pm (Monday – Friday)
