Job Description:
The Technical Design department is seeking applicants for possible adjunct teaching positions. This role involves instructing beginning students in Browzwear and Technical Design, with a focus on pattern correction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Delivering relevant course material.
• Assessing student performance.
• Providing guidance and assistance to students.
• Submitting grades on time.
• Importing patterns from Gerber Accumark into 3D Avatar.
• Correcting patterns in Browzwear/Gerber, importing them for fitting in Browzwear.
Requirements:
• Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in the field or a closely related field.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in the field.
• Preferred Qualifications
• MBA or Master’s degree in the field or a closely related field.
• Teaching experience at the college level
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Current Browzwear software knowledge, as well as the ability to pattern-correct.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Additional Information:
• This is a part-time, adjunct teaching position beginning in Spring 2025.
• The department will keep this posting open to create a pool of candidates for potential future adjunct assignments.
• Compensation is \$87.14 per hour based on minimum qualifications and is governed by the UCE-FIT Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Final rate depends on demonstrated qualifications per the CBA.
