About the Job: Acute Care Technology Intern
This is a college intern position, specifically for the Acute Care Technology division, with the internship period running from May 2025 through August 2025. Applicants must be actively enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university at the start of the internship.
Job Purpose:
The intern will function as support personnel for Test Engineering within the Operations Engineering Department. Key responsibilities include performing test system and electro-mechanical fixture development, documentation, research, studies, and limited design work as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Works on assignments with close supervision.
• All work output is reviewed by a member or members of Test Engineering.
• May involve the potential use of small hand and/or power tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications:
• Requires a High School Diploma.
• Must have active enrollment in the education program of an accredited university.
• Requires enrollment in a related technician or engineering field.
• Highly desirable skills include: a basic understanding of electricity, hardware and software development methodologies, and programming skills.
• Sufficient verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
