The Tone:
This is a temporary, 10-week summer internship at Corebridge Financial, located in Houston, TX, Jersey City, NJ, or Woodland Hills, CA. Actuarial professionals are integral to the company’s success, driving results through expertise in quantitative analysis, insurance pricing, loss reserving, and risk quantification. The TL;DR

• Mission: Drive financial results and ensure the soundness of regulatory and rating agency capital through expertise in quantitative analysis, insurance pricing, loss reserving, and risk quantification.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute to the reserving and valuation of insurance liabilities for regulated operating companies.
• Assist in assessing the soundness of regulatory and rating agency capital and insurance capital needs.
• Support technical pricing, product development analytics, and performance monitoring for various insurance products.
• Help evaluate the need for reinsurance and assess related strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and financial management, to achieve business objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Candidate for a bachelor’s or master’s degree, to be received no later than August 2029, for a role targeted to students entering their final year of undergraduate or graduate education.
• Experience: Complete one or more Actuarial Exam(s) by December 2026.
• Skills: Minimum grade point average of 3.2. Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Strong knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, and Excel.
