About the Role:
As an Actuarial Intern, you will be part of a team assisting experienced actuarial staff with crucial tasks. You will gain hands-on experience in:
• Reviewing client reserves and actuarial liabilities: Contributing to the assessment of financial health and risk within insurance companies.
• Responding to accounting changes: Analyzing and adapting to evolving industry regulations and accounting standards.

Qualifications:
• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Pursuit of Actuarial Exams is preferred. Candidates who have passed at least one exam are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong technical aptitude: Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis techniques and navigating various computer applications, including MS Office suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent communication, time management, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to employ sound professional judgment and professional skepticism.
• Flexible and adaptable team player. Leadership experience and resourcefulness in delivering high-quality work are valuable assets.
• Project management skills are a plus.
• Must reside within a reasonably commutable distance of the office location. The role may involve travel to client sites, potentially requiring overnight stays.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
