Job Description (Actuarial Intern)

As an Actuarial Intern, you will play a crucial role in the Actuarial Department. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Assisting department members by gathering information essential for commercial auto rate indications.
• Taking ownership of your own projects, providing a sense of direct contribution.
• Gaining exposure to and working with executive-level managers and employees across various departments within the company.
• Experiencing the tangible impact of your work on the company’s operations and results.

The internship is scheduled to *start in May 2026*. To maximize the experience, interns are expected to work *full-time during the summer*, with a potential option to continue *part-time during the school year*.

To be successful in this internship, candidates should possess:
• Active enrollment and attendance at an accredited college or university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Business, or Statistics.
• *Successful completion of one or more actuarial exams is preferred, but not required.• • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with diverse individuals.
• Self-motivation, demonstrated by the ability to organize work and follow through on assigned tasks diligently.
• Excellent communication skills, coupled with an enjoyment for working both independently and collaboratively with others.
