• Mission: To create and deliver enjoyable, seamless, and safe recreational experiences for guests, contributing to the Inn’s luxury standards and wellness culture.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Engagement: Provide personalized service to guests, ensuring they have an enjoyable and seamless experience while participating in resort activities.
• Activity Leadership: Lead and assist with a variety of scheduled activities, which include outdoor sports, fitness classes, kids’ programs, wellness experiences, and cultural events.
• Safety & Compliance: Monitor all recreational areas diligently to ensure a safe environment for guests, strictly following established safety procedures and providing assistance as needed.
• Maintenance & Readiness: Maintain the cleanliness, proper storage, and overall readiness of all recreation areas, including pools, equipment, and activity centers, encompassing both indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Program Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of new and innovative recreational experiences, ensuring they align with the Inn’s luxury standards and its unique wellness culture.
• Team Collaboration: Partner daily across various departments to ensure seamless and cohesive guest experiences throughout their stay.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A strong foundation and passion for hospitality, recreation, and customer service, coupled with an eagerness to continuously learn about wellness, fitness, event leading, and outdoor activities trends and best practices.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in hospitality, recreation, and customer service.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and engage groups of guests of all ages with enthusiasm, knowledge, and professionalism; fluency in written and verbal English; comfort speaking in group settings with an eye for detail and anticipation of individual needs; ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Bonus: Prior experience in a luxury resort setting is highly preferred; possession of basic first aid and CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain these certifications.
