Accounts Receivable Clerk (Talent Pool)

Location: Onsite – Indianapolis, IN
Pay Range: $18-$22 per hour

The Tom Wood Group is building a talent pool for future Accounts Receivable Clerk opportunities at our Indianapolis location. While we are not actively hiring for an immediate opening, we are seeking qualified candidates who would like to be considered for upcoming roles as they become available.

Potential Responsibilities

Responsibilities for future openings may include:

• Daily cash and check deposits
• Daily credit card batch posting
• Posting of incoming lender/bank funds
• Generating monthly customer billing statements
• Generating invoices upon customer request
• Assisting the accounting team with general clerical duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records
• Collaborating with team members and other departments to support dealership operations
• Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Dependable with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Basic office skills (filing, printing, scanning)
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Comfortable learning dealership-specific accounting software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
