This is an on-site internship at Centric Brands, located in Greensboro, NC. Centric Brands is a leading global lifestyle brand collective, managing a portfolio of over 100 licensed and owned brands, specializing in product design, development, and marketing across various categories. This Accounts Receivable Internship offers valuable hands-on experience in financial operations and customer account management, directly supporting the Finance team’s daily activities. The role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to the company’s operational efficiency.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Receivable Support: Support daily Accounts Receivable activities across Credit, Collections, or Cash Application, based on current business priorities.
• Data Management: Process transactions and maintain customer account information using SAP while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and maintain reports using Microsoft Excel and SAP to support financial analysis and operational decision-making.
• Account Reconciliation: Monitor customer accounts and assist with account reconciliations and the research of discrepancies.
• Collections & Cash Application: Support collections activities by tracking customer communications and assist with cash application, including payment processing and resolution of variances.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance; must be a college undergraduate Junior, Senior, or a Recent Graduate (Spring 2026).
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including organizing, analyzing, and reporting on data. Ability to work on-site in Greensboro, NC, for the full program (early-September to December) at least 20 hours per week.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, organizational skills, demonstrated willingness to learn new systems and financial concepts, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bonus: Experience with SAP.
