Accounts Receivable Accountant | Contexture

The Tone:
This is a full-time, exempt role at Contexture, located in Phoenix, Arizona; Denver, Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado, with local work-from-home opportunities available. Contexture interacts frequently with federal and state agencies, hospitals, payers, and physician practices. This role is vital for maintaining healthy financial operations by ensuring accurate customer invoicing and timely payment processing, directly supporting the organization’s financial stability and operational efficiency.

• Mission: This person is responsible for invoicing customers and ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Dynamics Business Central

What You’ll Actually Do
• Invoicing: Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual invoices for customers.
• Collections: Monitor account balances for delayed or non-payments and contact customers with outstanding balances.
• Payment Application: Post ACH, check, credit card, and other operating bank account cash transactions to the general ledger.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile the operating bank account and generate Accounts Receivable aging analysis as part of month-end close processes.
• Inquiry Resolution: Research and resolve payment discrepancies and customer inquiries, processing credit memos and adjustments as needed.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of three years of experience in accounts receivable.
• Experience: At least 3+ years of dedicated accounts receivable experience is required, with additional experience in non-profit or private sector being a plus.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and deadlines, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication, strong customer service, and excellent organization and priority setting.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field is preferred, along with experience working in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
