Your Role And Responsibilities
As an A/R Intern, you will be instrumental in supporting our financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:
• You will actively assist in the meticulous organization and comprehensive management of the Accounts Receivable (A/R) process, overseeing both our established existing portfolio and newly acquired entities. This involves ensuring smooth integration and consistent financial oversight across all business segments.
• Provide crucial support for monthly reconciliation and in-depth analysis of accounts receivable data, identifying discrepancies and ensuring data integrity to inform strategic decision-making.
• Engage in proactive cross-functional collaboration with key departments including Finance, Legal, IT, and Treasury teams to streamline collection efforts, swiftly resolve complex billing issues, and optimize cash flow.
• Actively participate in critical project meetings, offering valuable insights, contributing to comprehensive status updates, and preparing clear, concise reporting for internal stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and efficiently resolve customer billing issues through seamless coordination and communication with various cross-functional billing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction and accurate invoicing.
• Contribute directly to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives focused on significantly reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and driving measurable year-over-year (YoY) performance improvements in cash realization.
• Meticulously maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all A/R processes, operational procedures, and detailed customer interactions, ensuring compliance and knowledge transfer.
• Support the preparation of insightful reports and dynamic dashboards that provide clear visibility into A/R performance for various internal stakeholders, aiding in informed decision-onmaking.
• Lend essential support to critical audit and compliance efforts, ensuring all receivables and collections activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.

Preferred Education
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear articulation of complex financial information and effective collaboration across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to confidently utilize pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, complex formulas, and data analysis tools to manipulate and interpret large datasets efficiently.
• Familiarity with various financial systems such as an AR system of record, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools, and AR Infocenter is highly preferred and will be a significant advantage.
• Solid foundational understanding of core accounting principles, particularly in areas such as cash application, general ledger reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
• Proven analytical ability to interpret complex financial data, extract meaningful insights, and present findings in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
